    Ƶ will host a virtual Spring Arts Festival on March 20, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and one simple reservation will grant you access to all of the activities. Celebrate the Visual Arts An annual community event since 2013, the Festival is made possible with support from KSU’s College of the Arts, School of Art and Design, Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA), and Department of Dance. The Festival offers the chance for art enthusiasts of all ages to partake in visual and performing arts activities with two exhibitions, numerous video workshops and three live-streamed events.

    KSU Theatre and Performance Studies to present "Polaroid Stories"

    Ƶ Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) will present Polaroid Stories free of charge via ArtsKSU Virtual, Feb. 16-21. Written by Naomi Iizuka and directed by adjunct professor Pam Joyce, Polaroid Stories is the story of young street kids who find camaraderie, refuge and escape on the edge of a city. The mythic characters from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, coupled with kids fighting for survival in their urban jungle, create a visceral mash-up and the opportunity for a poignant, yet magical story.

It’s the 2021 24-Hour Play Festival, produced by the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) at Ƶ and live streamed on Saturday, January 23 at 8 p.m. from the Stillwell Theatre through ArtsKSU Virtual. Four student-creator teams—including a writer, director, stage manager, and performers—will grapple with chance and choice to conceive, create and perform their original works in a 24-hour period. It is guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind adventure for creators and audience alike.
