Faculty Tools to Design an Inquiry for SoTL
The aim of Hopscotch 4-Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is to provide faculty with a tool to assist them in designing a thorough inquiry process to promote the development of a SoTL design.
As defined by the at ÁñÁ«»ÆÊÓÆµ and drawing on Felten’s (2013) recommendations, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is systematic inquiry into student learning and/or one’s own teaching practices in higher education which is situated in context and involves methodologically sound application of appropriate research methods, peer review, and distribution as scholarly work.
