Students on college campuses across the country are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity and the foster care system. These barriers have grown larger throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At Ƶ, , support these students by providing access to food, temporary housing and other supportive services.
CARE Services recently celebrated its 10th year at KSU and serves as a model for universities across the country. In addition to food pantries on both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses, students can join the ASCEND program, which includes workshops, peer mentorship, case management and housing for homeless students.
“They really helped get me to where I am today,” KSU student Luke Badger said about staff members at CARE Services. “I am genuinely, forever grateful for all the help they have given me.”
