Associate Professor of English; Internship Coordinator
Dr. Pete is a father, Atlantan, cyclist, educator, scholar, and union member. He currently serves as the Internship Coordinator for KSU's English Department. His research focuses on digital rhetoric and culture, critical internet studies, community engagement, and labor advocacy and organizing. His recent classes have focused on ethics and generative AI, digital community engagement, and robots/science fiction. This year (2025-2026), Pete is focusing on building creative and non-traditional internships and experiential learning opportunities with non-profit organizations and advocacy networks in Atlanta. He is always interested in hearing about the last movie or play that you saw in the theater.
