Major (retired) David Ellis of Cobb County Police Department provides a guest lecture every semester to Dr. Crowder's students on Linkage Analysis.  Using a practical exercise based on real burglary cases, Major Ellis reveals expert learning on determining multiple facets of criminal actions to indicate case linkage.  This spring Major Ellis surprised Dr. Crowder by inviting Chief of Police Stuart VanHoozer to also guest lecture.  Dr. Crowder said, "Major Ellis has been supporting my classes for two decades, but today was very special to have the Chief sit in on the class and also provide some information to the students."
