The Department of History and Philosophy recognizes the hard work its students!
Each year, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences recognizes graduating (or recently graduated) students with an Outstanding Student Award. This highly prestigious honor is given to only one student in each degree-granting program who has distinguished themselves in the major field of study and in extracurricular, civic, work, and/or family contexts. Students are given the opportunity to choose one faculty member to honor who has been a significant influence and support to them during their education.

Her paper, "Death in Guyana: How Structural and Racial Inequalities led to the Jonestown
Tragedy" was submitted by Dr. Al Churella for her work in the Senior Research Seminar
in US History

on the traveling exhibition
