Connect with Spanish Speaking Communities
The Spanish program provides students the opportunity to take courses in language, linguistics, literature, and culture, while working with faculty from diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of teaching and research interests. The program also offers students engaging ways to connect their classroom studies to Spanish-speaking communities through study abroad and internship opportunities.
There are 328,518,810 Spanish speakers worldwide, putting it second only to Chinese for total number of native speakers. It is the official language of 21 countries.
